Although the basic principles of linocut are easy to learn, there are details, techniques and so on a beginner needs to know in order to produce successful prints.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDuring the workshop you will learn:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- How to keep safe while carving,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- How to make different marks with various tool heads,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- How to carve your first ever lino block,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e(which will be started off for you so you to take away the stress of 'where to start' and making that first mark),\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- Walk through of how to transfer designs onto future linoleum blocks,\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- Show you how to ink your carved block and transfer a test print.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBy the end of the workshop you will have a test print of your print (A6 size) and a few finished prints, made by you.
