A 3 hour linocut class introducing you to the linocut medium: Carve out time for creativity.
Prior to the class you will be invited to my 38,000+ strong facebook group to share ideas, inspiration, images, etcetera. In this group I will also share examples, details and ask you to choose one of four styles for me to prepare your blocks - floral, nude, tattoo-style or seaside theme - to make the absolute most of the session and make sure you come away with not only a new skill, but a block you can use to print again and again. Perfect for printing handmade cards, sketchbook covers and even on fabric.
What:
Join me at The Beer Shop in Folkestone for a linocut workshop, lasting 3 hours, showing you how to keep safe while cutting, how to make different marks, carve your first ever lino block (which will be started off for you so you to take the stress of starting away) and a walk through on how to transfer artwork to future linoleum blocks.
