About Me
Art and design have always been at the heart of everything I do. From childhood sketches to my years in the design industry, I’ve spent my life crafting images and patterns that tell stories. My journey as an artist and designer has taken me through a rich tapestry of experiences, from studying design at Brunel University to working with leading high-street brands like John Lewis and Laura Ashley. But ultimately, my passion has always been for creating unique, handcrafted works that bring artistry into everyday spaces.
Finding My Voice in Print & Pattern
I fell in love with linocut printmaking for its tactile nature—the carving process, the ink rolling, the final reveal when lifting the paper. It’s a medium that feels timeless yet ever-evolving. My work draws from a deep appreciation for traditional techniques, particularly those found in heritage arts, such as the intricate patterns of William Morris and the stylised elegance of vintage travel posters. My designs weave together the old and the new, fusing classic influences with bold, contemporary colour palettes and compositions.
I started my business to bridge the gap between art and interiors, creating pieces that aren't just decorative but deeply personal. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind wall hanging, a textile piece inspired by nature, or a limited-edition print, each design is crafted with care and attention to detail.
The Folkestone Chapter
In 2024, I took the leap and opened my first shop and studio on The Old High Street in Folkestone—a place that has become the home of my creativity. This space isn't just a shop; it’s a working studio where I print, design, and welcome customers into my world. The ability to interact with people directly, to talk about my process, and to create pieces that resonate with them has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
Being based in Folkestone has also given me the opportunity to be part of a thriving creative community. As the town continues to grow as a cultural hub, I’m excited to see how my work can contribute to and evolve within this inspiring environment.
My Process: From Sketch to Print
Every design begins with a sketch—sometimes a loose idea, sometimes a fully realised composition. I draw inspiration from nature, folklore, architecture, and the intricate details of everyday life. Once the design is refined, I transfer it onto lino and begin the carving process, which can take hours or even days depending on the complexity of the piece.
Printing is always a moment of magic. I use a mix of traditional hand-printing techniques and a vintage Albion press to bring my designs to life. Experimenting with colour, layering, and different papers allows me to create pieces that feel truly unique.
Looking Ahead
My work has been stocked in Canterbury Cathedral and featured in renowned retailers, and I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with designers and interior specialists. I’m always exploring new ways to push my practice further—whether through bespoke commissions, collaborations, or expanding into textiles and home décor.
For me, the joy of printmaking is in the details, the imperfections, and the individuality of each piece. I love that my work finds its way into people’s homes, becoming part of their daily lives and personal stories.

I’d describe my designs as inspired by a combination of William Morris, Henri Matisse and Marimekko meets Orla Keily, Mary Quant and Yayoi Kusama. My influences are far broader though, from a lifetime of observing art, fashion and the world around me, I have been heavily influenced by post impressionists, product design sketching and renders, film (think classics like the 1935 Papageno paper cutouts), flora, fauna, architecture and landscapes from across the world when travelling.
