Showcasing in The B.U.N.D - Beyond Boundaries, UN SDGs, Neo-Renaissance, Digital & Diverse. Shaping cross-cultural dialogue. Three of my largest, most complex linocuts will be joining the international section of professional artists. 

October - Web - Textile showcase in Folkestone, Kent, UK

This special group showcase brings together 18 textile artists and makers under a single cohesive theme: thread as a form of connection, exploring how individual stitches and woven components integrate into a grand collective whole. The exhibition is a key feature of the wider Open Art Folke Annual Art Festival, an open-house style weekend celebrating more than 200 local creatives and public art across Folkestone.

A fleeting cloud, captured in print and transformed into form.

Starting as a drawing, the design was translated into a linocut, hand printed into an edition, and then developed into a textile motif. The motif was worked into a pattern and printed onto sheer organza, transforming the original image into a voluminous, dreamlike dress.

Created in Folkestone through a collaboration between print, pattern and dressmaking, this piece is part of a wider web of local creativity — connecting place, process, materials and people.

The silhouette was developed in collaboration with The Stitchist, Alison Blackburn, to evoke the softness, movement and weightlessness of a cloud, while the printed design connects the dress back to the original linocut.

The cloud designs have also been transformed into the Flight Through the Clouds linocut silk scarves, bringing together British coastal inspiration and linocut art in an elegant, wearable form.

A single idea, carried through many hands and forms.

November -  HICCE Hangzhou

Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Expo 20th Anniversary showcase. For the second year my art will be showcased in the European and International section of the show. Representing the UK and the theme of 'Garden' showcase of linoprints, digital artworks and textiles will be curated alongside Kew Gardens and other brands. Live printing and video of the design process will be projected, engaging visitors. Last year, the show had 50,000 and engaging children and adults in linoprinting at the stand. I hope to collaborate with brands, galleries and museums on bespoke linoprints and products, events and exhibitions.

RECENTLY PAST EVENTS

5th September - Live Linoprinting and Solo Exhibition at The Grand, Folkestone

Living printing a new edition of Folkestone West, showcasing the carved blocks and one-off prints of my latest large-scale linocut - 'Folkestone to Dover', and sharing the traditional craft of multi-block linoprinting in the ballroom of The Grand. The show was a massive showcase of everything I have achieved over the last two years, since opening my own solo shop and open studio in Folkestones Creative Quarter. Printing live, having a print-your-own linocut station, array of products available for purchase and the one-of-a-kind 'Folkestone to Dover' Linocuts on show - was a fantastic event in such a huge and history filled space such as the ballroom of The Grand.

15-17th September - Showcase in Shoreditch Design Week | Partner of London Design Festival.

This year I exhibiting in House of ICON, Shoreditch Town Hall as part of Shoreditch Design Week, the largest official district of London Design Festival. I showcased my large-scale linocuts, 'Folkestone to Dover', alongside last years 'Folkestone West Sunset', and my collection of linocut silk scarves and bespoke textiles. Inspired by the British flora, fauna and coastline, my work combines traditional printmaking with bold colour and expressive pattern, creating pieces that celebrate the character, texture and stories of the places that continue to shape my practice. I met a lot of wonderful people, creatives and interior designers at the show and in discussions about bespoke artworks and textiles that create a woven narrative of handcrafted detail and texture.
